Description Alexander Kojevnikov 2009-04-23 06:25:10 UTC
A small dotted rectangle is sometimes drawn in the beginning of the Name column. This is easier to notice when a dark theme is used, I will attach screen-shots both for the dark and bright themes.

Steps to reproduce:

0. Switch to the List View and go to a non-empty directory.
1. Select a file or a directory.
2. Press F2.
3. Press Esc.

What happens:

A small rectangle is drawn at the very beginning of the selected row. The length of the file name doesn't change the width of the rectangle. Also, when the window loses the focus, the rectangle disappears.

What should happen:

No rectangle should be drawn.

Does it always happen:

Yes.

Comment 5 William Jon McCann 2012-08-21 11:25:16 UTC
Can't reproduce this here on master. I wonder if this was fixed once we changed to using a standard cell renderer for the name column (d228c0e72103d2389bdcf0206b02bf36c7b049d1)?

Does this still occur?
Comment 6 Allan Day 2012-08-21 11:42:20 UTC
I can't reproduce on master or on 3.4.2.
