GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 579908
should allow suspend if nothing is playing
Last modified: 2011-11-05 18:16:31 UTC
Please describe the problem: Currently, rhythmbox seems to disable auto suspend when it's running. In general this is good, but if nothing is playing it should allow auto suspend. Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information: I like to listen to podcasts before I go to sleep. Often, I fall asleep before they're done. I'd like rhythmbox to disable suspend while the podcast is playing, but allow it after it has finished.

Actually, no, this looks like it's probably something different. Please provide output from 'rhythmbox -D power' when this problem occurs.
I think this is a bug in gnome-power-manager actually, since it appears that rhythmbox is functioning correctly. I logged a new one at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=580080 . It includes the rhythmbox -D power log
