GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 579720
Strange semicolon in mailman archives
Last modified: 2018-09-24 10:10:36 UTC
Please describe the problem: Some mails sent to @gnome.org addresses are presented in archives with additional semicolon. Steps to reproduce: 1. open http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-sk-list/2009-April/msg00055.html and seach for two "wget" lines like this: $ wget "http://live.gnome.org/SlovakTranslation?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=check-po"; \ 2. There is additional semicolon near end of both lines 3. The original mail was sent without semicolons, you could check http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-sk-list/2009-April.txt.gz Actual results: Additional semicolon. Expected results: No additional semicolon. Does this happen every time? I found the problem in one mail only, so I am not sure. Other information:
Here is second instance of the problem: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-sk-list/2009-April/msg00081.html It seems it is easily reproducible.
Seems to be a mailman bug. Another instance here: http://lists.debian.org/debian-i18n/2010/02/msg00084.html at the end of line with "popcon.debian.org"
Check the text file and it is indeed a mhonarc bug. I'm not sure if it is fixed in latest mhonarc (we upgraded), but as I'm going to recreate the archives, I hope it is.
