could be dup of 537555...?
Comment 2 Akhil Laddha 2009-04-13 05:38:56 UTC
Did migration complete at last ? Could be same as bug 559153
Comment 3 Alvaro Vega Garcia 2009-04-13 05:57:20 UTC
I was able to finish the migration, but I had to delete all summary files that I found in ~/.evolution/mail/local. The migration process crash with some folders at 8, 10 or 15 percent. In spite of I had a lot of mail files (2.2 Gbytes) I think that this bug is not the same that 559153.

Comment 4 Srinivasa Ragavan 2009-04-13 06:09:40 UTC
Alvaro, were you moving from a 32 to 64bit machine? or the vice versa?
Comment 5 Alvaro Vega Garcia 2009-04-13 06:14:32 UTC
Well.. I moved my .evolution folder from a 32bit Debian Lenny (Gnome 2.22?) to 64bit Debian Lenny on October 2008. I have been working without problems since them until now, when I updated from Lenny to Squeeze (Gnome 2.24).
Comment 6 Srinivasa Ragavan 2009-06-20 13:21:10 UTC
Alvargo, if you had moved from 32bit to 64bit, then its a known problem, the old summary had some data written in a wrong way. The only way to resolve is to remove the summary file and let Evolution re-generate.

In your case, is it possible that you had some folders which weren't used often or after the 64bit move. Then you should do the same. I donno, therez nothing much that can be done to the data, that was written wrong by the old software :(
