Description Maxim Levitsky 2009-04-09 10:51:04 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have few notes with lots of non language words, eg numbers, function names, etc.
Tomboy marks all these as spelling errors.
Thus I can't use the spelling feature.

I want to be able to turn spelling per note
(I this this isn't a wish for feature since currently, this feature isn't usable at all due to this)

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?

We don't have much control over the spell checker library, but I agree that we should be able to enable/disable spell checking on a per-note basis. Updating bug summary to reflect the feature request.

This is related to bug #336484, which I'm going to update to be *only* about multiple language support (and not about disabling spell checking on a per-note basis).

Patches welcome for this feature.

For now, you could 'disable' spell checking with the Fixed Width plugin. Text that is marked as Fixed Width is not spell checked.
