Description fpp 2009-04-08 08:17:24 UTC
In the File System Support window should be one more column showing the crypt-luks support to the listed file systems.

Currently GParted is able to detect crypt-luks partitions, but does not support any other operations.

Since the features window no longer displays a column for "detect", it would make no sense to add crypt-luks to the file system support window because the row would contain only X's.

Support for crypt-luks actions like create or resize will need to be added to GParted before crypt-luks can be added to the file system support window.

Since a request for crypt-luks support has previously been created, I am marking this report as a duplicate of bug #171144.

Hi All,

I am evaluating what needs to be done to add LUKS support to GParted. I
would appreciate if you could reply to the following GParted forum post
with the requested details:

Feature Requests --> What storage layout do LUKS users have?
http://gparted-forum.surf4.info/viewtopic.php?id=17329

Thanks,
Mike
