GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 577654
Can't play RTSP-stream in Totem-plugin with GStreamer backend
Last modified: 2009-04-01 22:19:00 UTC
Description of problem: As I've reported in another bug, I can't view any movie that needs the x-ms-wmp-plugin to work properly. I emailed the support about that and they told me to ask someone to make a plugin for x-ms-wmp. How reproducible: Everytime I attempt to play a movie that needs that plugin. This reported is being reported upstream from https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=44041 as requested.
** Message: Error: A Windows Media RTP depayloader plugin is required to play this stream, but not installed. gstdecodebin.c(988): close_pad_link (): /GstPlayBin:play/GstDecodeBin:decodebin1: No decoder to handle media type 'application/x-rtp' ** Message: Missing plugin: gstreamer|0.10|totem-plugin-viewer|Windows Media RTP depayloader|decoder-application/x-rtp, media=(string)application, payload=(int)96, encoding-name=(string)X-ASF-PF (Windows Media RTP depayloader)
