GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 577613
EMail addresses are not shown when using MAPI connector
Last modified: 2009-04-06 12:03:52 UTC
When using the MAPI connector in Evolution, the sender and recipients of an email address, as displayed in the message viewer, do not show the email address correctly - instead it simply shows the person's name again inside angle brackets (see screenshot). Of course replying doesn't work (uses the person's name as the target address), nor any other action on the address - such as clicking on it to create a new message or "add to addressbook".

"me too" :P libmapi 0.8.2 evolution-mapi svn evolution 2.26.0 samba 4.0.0alpha7 (debian) There are no specific stderr messages when opening a mail, but I'm attaching stderr anyway.
Created attachment 131987 [details] stderr messages. stderr messages. Nothing strange.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. I'm yet to commit the patch. Thank you for your bug report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 572518 ***
