Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a jpg or xcf file
2. Click Tools/GEGL operations
3. Gimp crashes without any error message, except for the standard Windows crash message.

I am using an apparently very stable WinXP SP3 (as far as Win can be stable) P4 3.2 with 1 Gb RAM.

I installed the bin version found in
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html over Gimp 6.6.4. The 2.6.4 didn't show this behavior.

Sometimes tools like Levels and Hue/Saturation also crash the same way when the option of the menu Tools/GEGL operation is on.

Maybe this is the same bug as 576495. I am only reporting it because that one is reported as happening in Vista.

The GEGL tool is a color tool too, it just lives in an other
menu. Resolving as duplicate.
