Description dick hoogendijk 2009-03-30 18:07:35 UTC
If I rip a CD which has a DATA track as a last track the ripping proces freezes
in the last AUDIO track! So, the last "good" track is not ripped. The ripping application hangs / freezes.

Steps to reproduce:
1. insert a mixed audio CD
2. try to rip the audio files
3. the last audio file freezes (with a few seconds left)

About 8 seconds before the end of the last good audio track time freezes and slowly climbs again. Nothing happens anymore. The program can be shutdown.

I made a debug log created like this:

 $ GST_DEBUG=cddabasesrc:5,*cdio*:5,*cdparanoia*:5 sound-juicer 2>dbg.log

(logging the extraction of the last AUDIO track).

It can be retrieved here:

http://nagual.nl/files/dbg.log.bz2

Hope to be of help and to hear from you.

The log file does not seem to be available any longer.

Do you know which cd source / plugin is actually used by sound-juicer on opensolaris?

If yes, does this also fail:

 $ gst-launch-0.10 xyzcddasrc track=TRACKNUMBER ! progressreport ! fakesink

?
