Description Rolf Suessbrich 2009-03-23 22:18:26 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install fresh from downloaded file after deinstallation of 2.4.6
2. Load a jpg file and use colours / colour adjustment (German: Farben, Farbabgleich, the first in the list)
3. GIMP crashes without any message !!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Select after restart "Use GEGL" (whatever this is)
5. GIMP now works reliable even if "Use GEGL" is switched on/off again.
(Looks like problems with setting up environment correctly (uninitialised variables)

I am using Gimp 2.6.6 on WinXP SP3 and something alike happens: sometimes, just a click on GEGL operations will crash Gimp, other times it doesn't crash, but nothing happens. A crash always happens when "Use GEGL" is on and something like Levels or Hue, Saturation is used.

I installed the bin version found in http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html over Gimp 6.6.4.

Update to comment #3: clicking on the "GEGL operations" button of the toolbox does nothing, but selecting the same function from the menu always results in a crash.
