GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 575986
E-mail send delay needed
Last modified: 2011-04-05 13:59:40 UTC
I would like to see a feature added to Evolution to delay sending an e-mail for a specified time. I use Outlook at work and I have it configured to delay all of my e-mails by 2 minutes. This is usually enough time to realize that I forgot to add someone to a meeting request, forgot to add an attachment, or to realize that sending the e-mail is probably not a good idea. I can bypass the 2 minute delay by adding a "--" to the end of the subject of the e-mail. This feature was recently added to GMail and I believe it also exists in other mail clients. If the Evolution developers could add this feature I believe it would make alot of people happy.
Just my 2 cents ! I need it, too ! See: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=585836 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=585837
