Description sgravit 2001-07-13 22:54:33 UTC
Package: gnome-core
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.1
Synopsis: Panel crashes
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core
Bugzilla-Component: panel

Description:
I am using the Veritas Java GUI on a Sun Ultra 5 running Solaris 8.

Eash time I close a dialog box in the Veritas GUI, the panel crashes and then restarts. The version of java installed is the default from the OS which is 1.1.8

To reproduce the problem:

1.	Start the Veritas 3.3.1 GUI
2.	Click on the 'disks' icon in the left pane.
3.	Select a disk from the right pane.
4.	Right-click and select 'properties'.
5.	Add a comment to the disk.
6.	Select the 'OK' button.
7.	Watch the fun begin....

Note: this seems to happen for almost any action when the windos try and close and I have reproduced it on my machine on several different days.

Could you supply a backtrace of the crash? Please also try to
reproduce this using the latest release of gnome-core (1.4.0.4)
