When looking at List view in Calendar, only events for the month selected on the left pane are shown.

There is a dropdown menu called "Show" which defaults to "Any Category". There are many options here, but none for 'all future events'. This is a very useful feature available in some other calendar applications. It seems the framework already exists to include this.

Next 7 Days appointment option doesn't help ?

Next 7 Days shows even less info than unfiltered month list view. The list shows the current month by default. As you approach the end of the month, you have less and less forecast of your upcoming events. During the last week of the month, I must constantly switch back and forth between events.
