GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 574000
CalDAV calendar events are not reflecting updates that occur on the CalDAV server
Last modified: 2009-04-27 16:29:25 UTC
Please describe the problem: I have several calendar events that appear in Evolution on a CalDAV calendar. Some of these events are updated on the server-side to reflect new event details such as agendas. Although I can see this updates via e-mail that I receive informing that the event has changed and by logging into the calendar remotely I never see these updates appear in the CalDAV calendar in Evolution. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use a CalDAV calendar that is already populated with a recurring meeting. 2. Have the meeting organizer change a single instance of the recurring meeting by adding text to the meeting detail. Actual results: The meeting in my calendar does not reflect the updated details that the meeting organizer placed in the meeting. Expected results: The single instance of the recurring meeting should be in-sync with what is available on the CalDAV server. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: I am using Evolution 2.24.5 and by CalDAV calendar is provided by Zimbra over SSL.
This is evolution, not evolution-webcal.
Confirming, as I see the same on google's calendar too.
