Description Oded Arbel 2009-03-02 09:56:18 UTC
After Evolution has retrieved a message list for a MAPI folder, if that folder is ever changed by another tool (for example Outlook Web Access or another Evolution isntance) by moving or deleting messages, the affected messages are not removed from the Evolution message list for the folder.

Normally, after expunging the folder in the other tool, Evolution's message list can be refreshed by using Folder->Refresh or hitting F5. Not so with MAPI: using either Refresh, Expunge or even "Send & Receive" will not update the message list. Even restarting Evolution (w/ or w/o --force-shutdown) will not cause the message list to refresh.

Selecting a message in the message list that was removed shows an "unable to retrieve message" error.

I'd like to note that adding new messages to the folder does add the new messages to the list but does not cause it to refresh: both the new items and the non-existing items are shown.

Deleting the new items again does not remove them from the message list.

I'm seeing the same behaviour.
