GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 573606
tabs with no scrollbars, weird behavior
Last modified: 2009-03-02 16:35:35 UTC
Please describe the problem: While i was browsing my ~/.icons/sometheme/scalable/ and opened the different subdirectories (which of course have _many_ icons) into new tabs, i found out that none of the new tabs had scrollbars. i had to refresh (ctrl+r) the current tab in order to gain scrollbar. but then, every other tab would lose it`s scrollbar (if had any, using the above step). also, i noticed that when resizing the window, the scrollbars disappear and must refresh again when moving to another tab. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a directory with nautilus 2. Open a subdirectory (with many files/dirs) in a tab 3. Open other subdirectory (with many files/dirs) in a tab 4. Toggle through the opened tabs. 5. Resize the window. The scrollbars disappear from any other tab except the currently opened. Actual results: At step #4, you will see, that only the last opened tab will have scrollbars. At step #5, as mentioned, the scrollbars disappear from all the tabs except the currently viewing, and when changing tabs must "Refresh". Again, the scrollbars are lost from the other tabs... So, i must "Refresh" every single time when i change tab... Expected results: Opened tabs to have scrollbars. Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
