GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 573518
Bluetooth disabled tray icon
Last modified: 2009-03-09 16:22:34 UTC
It's nice to easily see if bluetooth is on or off. However, the icon currently used (grayscale bluetooth icon) is not ideal. We normally use a special emblem like [x] for this state. You can for example see it used by the sound applet (muted sound) or NetworkManager (right click and untick "enable networking"). The same would make sense for Bluetooth as well IMHO.

Fair enough. I did those icons myself, using GIMP and the "normal" icons. Added to http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/ArtRequests
Created attachment 130222 [details] new icons with [x] in bottom-right corner
Fixed, thanks for the icons Andreas! http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-bluetooth?view=revision&revision=468
