What were you doing when the application crashed?
Just clicked File -> Print trying to print second bug report in series (573214), this time from open message rather than preview pane. Confirmed, File -> Print crashes evolution here for all cases, preview or not, HTML or not.

Since I have just switched to evolution from Thunderbird, I can provide no comparison to a time period when it was functioning and what might have changed since then. Printing is standard CUPS here to a LaserJet 2100 which is configured as such, and works for all other applications.
