Please describe the problem:
Hold down j or k in vim with gnome-terminal maximized, with a decent amount of text on the screen and you can see the text jerk a lot as it goes by. This does not happen in konsole or xterm and I've tested it on 2 computers. It seems worse for the higher resolution that it is maximized to.
