Description mattias hellstrom 2009-02-18 10:06:56 UTC
When i try to resize partitions, linux (I guess udev) automounts the partition so that the resize operation fails unless Im very lucky and the resize starts before the partition is automounted.
It would be nice if gparted temporarily prevented such automounts while running.

The particular version I was running was gparted-0.3.9 on a fedora10 live cd.

Thank you Mattias for taking the time to report a problem with GParted.

This bug has been fixed in GParted version 0.4.3.

GParted 0.4.3 is currently available on the testing branch of GParted Live, and also on the System Rescue CD.
