Description Lu Timdale 2009-02-18 03:41:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
WHen importing, it seems that some pictures taken on one day go to one folder/date and others that are taken toward the end of the day go to the incorrect/next day's folder on the file system.

So pictures taken on 2009-01-01 would go to folders
2009/01/01 and
2009/01/02

This is probably a timezone issue. I am in EST (-5h). The camera exif data reads correctly, and f-spot should respect it. It should treat all time as being in the current timezone.

Steps to reproduce:
1. take two pictures one in the morning, one in the evening.
2. import using f-spot
3. 2 days/folders will be created. the evening picture will be in the following (incorrect) day's folder on the filesystem.

Actual results:
Pictures taken on 2009-01-01 would go to folders
2009/01/01 and
2009/01/02

Expected results:
Pictures taken on 2009-01-01 would go to folders
2009/01/01

Does this happen every time?
yes
