Description Yuriy Marykovskiy 2009-02-08 22:33:23 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have all my album artwork saved inside of media files.
Banshee shows all of it except the case when EITHER album name or album artist FULLY consists of Cyrillic characters. I'm Ukrainian, so I have a lot of Ukrainian names used in id3 tags, so for example if Artist name is "Крихітка Цахес", then artwork is not displayed.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Change any artist name or album name using Cyrillic character set
2.Play the song

Actual results:
Album cover art is not displayed any longer

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
File name, file location, or name of the song in id3 tag, which fully consists of the Cyrillic characters doesn't trigger the bug.

Adding Latin character or number to the name of the album/artist results in album artwork being displayed.
