Description Andrew Rens 2009-02-06 08:45:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whether using the import button, or click and drag, the application will not import any .mpeg files.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select import clips
2. Select a .mpeg file from list in window
3. Select "add"

Actual results:
The window never closes no matter how many times one clicks on add. In the application window a blue circle with an i appears. If selected this gives the following message: "the following files can not be used with Pitivi"

Expected results:
The file to be placed in the "clips" space.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
I am using uBunut Hardy Heron 8.04

You need to be more specific, please provide sample mpeg files that don't work. I have no problems with my .mpeg files (or any files that totem plays, for that matter). I'm running the git (development) version on ubuntu 8.10, however.

Let's close this bug? (old version, old report, no reply, etc.)

Andrew, thx for reporting this bug but the 0.11.x series is no longer supported. Please try again with the upcoming 0.13.1 release and re-open this bug if the problem persists.
