Description Basil Mohamed Gohar 2009-02-03 07:31:44 UTC
When an IRC nickname is changed via the "Personal Information" option in "Edit" menu, the discussion still displays the old name.
/me still displays the old name.
The room says that your new name joins the room, and the old name has left.

Others in the room apparently see the correct name, though, so it appears to be a local-side problem.

We should retest once bug #571642 has been fixed.
Comment 2 Sumana Harihareswara 2009-11-03 23:05:22 UTC
Is this at all related to bug #599972 ?
Comment 3 Guillaume Desmottes 2009-11-18 19:14:04 UTC
With master the renaming is now properly displayed but /me still display the old nick.
Comment 4 Chandni Verma 2011-01-03 08:44:33 UTC
