Description henrik 2009-01-31 16:11:46 UTC
very often the mail counter just right of the folder name, never reaches zero.. The folder is empty, but the counter still says (1) right after the folder name. This has been since the last 2-3 updates. When I started with ubuntu and Evolution about 8 months ago, it was not like so. Very anoying, but still a great program!

Thanks /Henrik Laurell, Sweden

I was of course referring to the counter for new mails..

This only happens when I use Ctrl+PgUp to get to the next new mail. If I end each mail with esc and choose another with cursor keys, it doesn't happen. Only with Ctrl+PgDn or Ctrl+PgUp to get to the next mail.

can you please try with current stable 2.24.4 and report back , most of the count related problems have been fixed, thanks.

Not all counter problems are gone. Did just move a new mail from the inbox to a sub-folder in Inbox, but the "new mail counter" next to Inbox was still (1). I did move the mail with the mouse, not via option (right-click) menu on the mail.

Are you on 2.24.4?
Comment 6 henrik 2009-02-03 19:37:55 UTC
I use 2.24.3, but when trying Update Manager, I was up to date..
Is maybe version 2.24.4 not released yet.., or still as "beta" ?

I run latest ubuntu, maybe it is not bundled yet..?
