Description Johannes Berg 2009-01-30 11:48:41 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whenever I use the automatic address book, evolution keeps adding duplicate entries to it. This in itself wouldn't be much of a problem, but then when trying to use that address book for auto-completion, evolution gets *very* slow doing auto-completion.

Steps to reproduce:
1. add an automatic address book
2. send lots of email to the same person
3. try to auto-complete that person

Actual results:
hundreds of entries for that person in the automatic address book

Expected results:
exactly one entry for each email address in the automatic address book

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
version 2.22.3.1
