Description Juan 2009-01-27 04:35:10 UTC
I don't know if you see this like a real trouble, but I do. When I minimize the main window (the one where I'm working on) the tool box, all the dialogs, etc, stay on their position, blocking the desktop and whatever could be behind of them, and for me it's unconfortable to have to drag, resize, close and reopen the tool box and dialogs everytime I try to minimize the GIMP to open a file, a folder or a shortcut from the desktop, for instance.

So, for me, it would be useful to do what I wrote on the summary, or at least put again a minimize button, like them used to have. I don't know why you took off that button. Well, I hope you've understood me because my english is too poor. Bye and thanks.

Hi and thanks for the bug report! What you are asking for is the Transient docks setting which only exist in unstable version because it doesn't work correctly with all window managers and platforms. Closing as duplicate.
