Description robcowsill 2001-06-30 21:41:20 UTC
After placing a guide on the image and moving it (either to a new position
or back onto the ruler), random lines appear while dragging a selection.
The lines are 1 pixel thick, black and point in random directions. Most
reach to the edge of the page. Sometimes the outline of the selection gets
left behind during dragging.

This happens with GNOME, KDE, XFce, Blackbox and sawfish. Also used to
happen on another machine running Redhat 6 and KDE.

This looks a lot like Bug#17904, with the addition of problems
with guides. I'm marking it as a duplicate, but someone
should check out the guides situation.

This bug is not a duplicate of #17904 but rather of bug #22375. I'm
reopening it to fix this.

The fix for bug #22375 is part of the stable release 1.2.4. Closing
