Description Brandon Lewis 2009-01-22 19:30:00 UTC
With some .avi files I have, the audio cuts in and out during preview which does not occur in totem. I have seen this behavior manifested on four different machines, all running recent releases of ubuntu:

- Macbook Pro, running ubuntu 8.04 inside of parallels desktop
- IBM T43, running ubnuntu 7.10, 8.04
- HP Pavillion dv6000 running ubuntu 8.04/8.10 both with stock gstreamer, and
  with our PPA
- Generic desktop, running a fresh install of ubuntu 8.10, also using our PPA

I think this might be a gstreamer bug relating to segment seeks, because I see similar gaps when zoomed in at high magnification.
