Description edge 2009-01-19 17:49:11 UTC
I'm experiencing a corruption of my inbox wherein the From, Subject and Date fields in the folder view do not match the actual header info or the body of the message. In other words, I open a mail message froma friend, but the body is from a spammer (Russian knockoff watches). This is happening in my junk folder as well, wherein a message that would clearly be marked spam based on the Sender, Subject turns out to be from known people (friends, etc). This switch has occured with both new email and with mail that was already read. I am auditing both boxes to see if I can isolate the first occurance.

I will send you whatever you need in terms of emails, etc. Thanks. It's a great client.

Hopefully this is a simple problem. If not, this could be a nasty bug forcing me to read every spam mail I get.

Sounds like bug 213072
Comment 2 André Klapper 2009-01-22 23:28:53 UTC
It's fixed in 2.22.3.1 and 2.24, but not in for example 2.22.1.
