GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 568141
Banshee 'Add to playlist' menu causes system to become non responsive
Last modified: 2009-01-23 00:01:04 UTC
Hi, I am running Ubuntu 8.10, and my banshee version is from the Banshee Teams PPA (Banshee 1.4.1). It seems my Banshee has an issue where upon opening the 'Add to playlist' submenu, my whole X session becomes non responsive. I then have to login to a new tty and 'killall banshee-1' to get my X session to become responsive again. In the terminal i see this: matthew@matthew-desktop:~$ banshee-1 [Info 15:57:02.275] Running Banshee 1.4.1 [Info 15:57:04.625] All services are started 2.128843s [Info 15:57:05.936] nereid Client Started (Banshee:5873): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed Where opening the Add to playlist submenu causes the Gtk-CRITICAL message to be spammed to the terminal. I'll try and provide some debug info later tonight when i get time.
