Description Michael Monreal 2009-01-15 21:39:20 UTC
I have noticed windows without a specific window icon (KVM windows for example) no longer show the "nice" default_icon.png any longer in GNOME 2.25.
Comment 1 Michael Monreal 2009-01-15 21:40:52 UTC
Actually, it shows the correct icon inside the window list... but not in metacity and the alt-tab switcher... Metacity regression?

Might be related to the fix for bug 524343, as that looks like to have been half-done judging from the comments (patch to use "proper" default icon is in, but not the actual icon....)

I'm apparently bad with Bugzilla. The above attachment is the icon I see when using Metacity by itself (without Gnome).
Comment 6 Michael Monreal 2009-03-05 08:32:41 UTC
That's actually the same thing I posted, only yours is showing GTK's built-in icon vs the gnome-icon-theme variant in mine.

Still happening in trunk btw.
