Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the app.
2. No camera is picked up.
3. Try to close it, it hangs. I have to kill the process.

I may be wrong but it should be a known issue.
Enable intrepid-proposed and upgrade kernel and libv4l from there.
Feel free to reopen the bug if this doesn't work.
