Evolution Mail and Calendar: Message duplication. Si...
Last modified: 2009-06-21 14:44:44 UTC
Message duplication. Since the move to a database I am seeing many instances of duplicate message. I will see them as following in my message list panel. They appear the same and I can access them seperately. As soon as I do any action on them such as delete, set to read/unread then a short time later the other entry will update to the same status. Distribution: Fedora release 10 (Cambridge) Gnome Release: 2.24.2 2008-11-25 (Red Hat, Inc) BugBuddy Version: 2.24.2
Which account type? IMAP/Local/Exchange ?
Local. I use openimap to synchroise a local Maildir with a remote IMAP server.
I have also duplicated mails since upgrading from evolution-2.22 to 2.24.5 It's a very annoying behavior. I have a POP3 account, please ask me any info you need Thanks a lot
Any reproducable steps where in you will end up with dupe mails ? I have seen some bugs like this. 2.24.5 is old, but still good enough code to debug it. Any steps/data would be useful
I am unable to reproduce, it only occured just after updating from 2.22 to 2.24.5, but seems that , since closing and restarting evolution, it didn't failed anymore for me
Cool. Please reopen if u see it again.
