Please describe the problem:
This bug appears when using firefox, but I assume that the gnome file open dialog would be similarly affected for any program. When the filetype selector shows a very long list of filetypes, the window stretches beyond the screen.

Steps to reproduce:
Attempt to upload a file to a photobucket album, or use a similarly affected program.

Actual results:
Window stretches beyond screen (See Screenshot).

Expected results:
File list should be terminated with three dots, indicating that the list is too long.

Does this happen every time?
