Description Nicolas Mailhot 2009-01-04 15:27:25 UTC
Doxygen adds font files to the documentation it generates. This pauses problems to distributions as fonts are bulky and can have conflicting legal constraints.

Duplicating the same font files in every doxygen-produced documentation just exacerbates the problem.

Please stop distributing fonts within doxygen, and let the system manage fonts for you.

Looking at the comments with the mentioned bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=477402#c2 and the bug report mentioned in this bug report https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478747 with the comment:

  doxygen doesn't include any fonts!

and the fact that the last mentioned bug is closed, I think indeed that this doxygen bug can be closed as well as not a (doxygen) bug.

Indeed, long ago doxygen did produce a font file for use with dot, but this has since been removed.
