GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 566091
Mime type is not set for tracks ripped from CD
Last modified: 2008-12-31 00:17:01 UTC
Using banshee, I ripped an audio CD to the ogg format. For those tracks, it seems the MIME type is not stored in the database : sqlite3 ~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db 'select uri, mimetype from coretracks where uri like "%.ogg";' Jeff Buckley/Grace/01. Mojo Pin.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/02. Grace.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/03. Last Goodbye.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/04. Lilac Wine.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/05. So Real.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/06. Hallelujah.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/07. Lover, You Shouldve Come Over.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/08. Corpus Christi Carol.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/09. Eternal Life.ogg| Jeff Buckley/Grace/10. Dream Brother.ogg| file:///home/lorentz/Test_Music/01.%20Mojo%20Pin.ogg|taglib/ogg The first 10 tracks are coming from the CD. The last one is a an ogg file I imported directly. This leads to bad things : banshee transcoding those file to ogg when copying them to a DAP.
