Description James Livermont 2008-12-30 17:06:57 UTC
I searched around quite a bit to see if this had already been submitted, but I didn't see any bug reports for this so decided to submit one. I need a command line parameter that will keep a gnome-terminal window open after a script or command has been run with the -e or -x parms. Basically, what I am doing is running a couple of scripts in a gnome-terminal that is being launched from another script, but I need the window to persist until the user closes it.

Other information:
xterm has a -hold parm and konsole has a --noclose parm that do what I am looking for.

Also, I wanted to mention that I realize that I could create a new profile and select keep the window open in the title and command window tab, but I shouldn't have to do all of that. Besides, for scripts that will run on hundreds of machines, dragging around profiles is not ideal.
