Please retry with a supported version. Either 2.24 or 2.25.
My evolution software is part of the OpenSuSe 10.2 Linux distribution and I cannot install another version from there. I found on yi=our site that I can download source packages, but I would prefer not to recompile manually. However I investigated further the problem and I found that: a) Probably it was caused by the kill of an evolution process that seemed to be stuck. b) I found that a Trash file in my evolution directory as follows: Trash1.ev-summary.meta: ???Linux-ubsu c) I could not find other Trash folders My question is: since the evolution software does not seem to handle thsi situation , can I do some manual action to solve the problem (e.g. can I delete and recreate the Trash folder? Thank tou and best regards Mario Pesce
