Steps to reproduce:
- create a new gnucash file with all possible accounts (inc. business )
- busness -> customer -> new customer -> [create a customer]
- business -> customer -> find customer -> find all ->
- [select newly created customer] -> customer's invoices -> New invoice
- [enter invoice data] -> post -> close Invoice -> CRASH

I'm having a very similar problem in the Windows version.  I'm running XP with version 2.2.8.  Here's the gnucash.trace file:

Sorry, this is a known problem in 2.2.8 only. The code in SVN is already fixed.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
