Description bubbel 2008-12-23 21:51:05 UTC
When clicking in my browser on an IRC link, I'd like to see Empathy connecting to the IRC channel.
Same is true for xmpp/jabber chat rooms
Of course the user should have the preriquisites in plase (Login/Password etc.)

Cheers, Bubbel

I explained in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541156#c13 how this should be implemented.

Hello dear developers,
is anyone working on this?

As Empathy is shipping as the default IM/IRC client in Fedora Workstation (and possibly other distributions using GNOME) it's a pity the integration with the desktop environment is not 100%.
