Last modified: 2018-05-22 13:17:31 UTC

Let focus on irc:// on this bug.
For reference, those links were posted in bug 541156: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-butcher-irc-url-04 http://www.w3.org/Addressing/draft-mirashi-url-irc-01.txt http://www.mozilla.org/projects/rt-messaging/chatzilla/irc-urls.html

I explained in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541156#c13 how this should be implemented.
Hello dear developers, is anyone working on this? As Empathy is shipping as the default IM/IRC client in Fedora Workstation (and possibly other distributions using GNOME) it's a pity the integration with the desktop environment is not 100%.
