Description Michael Gefen 2008-12-23 18:25:19 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I try to copy a file to my mobile phone via obex:// protocol, I get an error message, that states, that the file could not be copied. The detail message is, that the activity is not supported by the backend (translated from german: "Vorgang wird vom Backend nicht unterstützt"). I can create directories, browse the phones contents and copy files from my mobile phone, though. In the "good old days" with ubuntu 7.10 copying files to that phone worked.

Steps to reproduce:
1. pair the phone with the system using bluetooth
2. copy a file (like copy then paste)

Actual results:
a message: Operation not supported by backend

Expected results:
a file is copied

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
1. a file is transfered using kde tools

Confirmed here with nautilus and U. 8.10 with w910i:
- can browse phone files
- can create folders "Untitled Folder"
- can get files from phone M2 card
- can NOT remame folders "Operation not supported by backend"
- can NOT send files to phone "Operation not supported by backend"

PS: this is my first upload, so correct me if i went wrong.
