Hi,

I connect to the network with Huawei E220 3G USB modem with NetworkManager
under Gnome.

When my Gnome session is open and the screensaver is running, if my wife wants
to open her Gnome session, Network Manager is no longer available and the
network connection is disconnected. The only solution it has to be able to connect to the network is to reboot Linux, or I logout.

Before I was using Vodafone Mobile Connect
(https://forge.betavine.net/projects/vodafonemobilec) and the network connection
was available for all sessions.

We are both part of group dialout, plugdev and netdev.

I use Network-Manager 0.7.999 with Debian testing.

Regards.

For me as home user that shares the computer (Ubuntu 9.10, always on) with three other people this is certainly more a bug (Bugzilla severity "normal") than an enhancement.

Whenever the person with the first session forgets that she should not log out, all others lose network connection and have to reboot if the first person is not at home.
