Description Adam Dingle 2008-12-18 12:57:39 UTC
The Save All and Close All menu items are currently in the File menu. For consistency with other GNOME applications, these should be in the Documents menu instead. This is what the GNOME interface guidelines recommend (see http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/, section 4.4.8 "Windows") and is where gedit has these menu items.

Here's a fix. I've also added an icon to the Save All menu item, just like in gedit.l

Oops - I realized that my previous patch inadvertently caused the Save All menu item to have the same shortcut (Ctrl+S) as File / Save.

Here's an updated patch. It assigns Shift+Ctrl+L to Save All; this is the same shortcut used by gedit.
