GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 564790
ekiga 3.0.1 some problems
Last modified: 2008-12-17 19:24:54 UTC
Binary package hint: ekiga just got new update in jaunty and I wanted to say I realy like the new look of ekiga alot. problems: i lost contact #'s but not names i lost call history My only suggestions are that Ekiga would open when you start it to the desk top and now it loads to the panel. I use human theme with auto hide so i thought it had failed to start at first then noticed a green button in the tray that did not look at all to represent a phone in anyway and just realized that the icon had been replaced. i can understand not opening to the desktop as a preference to some but i realy like the icon to somewhat represent a phone. some times i get disconected from networks and would be nice to still see the registerd accounts (i use two) to know if one is not on. missed call's and voicemail notification gone aswell. the address book no longer has my contacts # or let me click to connect ( not cool to loose contacts and call history) good job on the look overall it gets my vote. any suggestions on retrieving my contacts and history? ( I found the contact #'s in evolution) ProblemType: Bug #307968 @launchpad Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/ekiga Package: ekiga 3.0.1-1ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ekiga Uname: Linux 2.6.28-2-generic i686 Other information:
