Description Ben Bacarisse 2008-12-13 19:28:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
As with bug #318803 (which applies to mairdir mail stores) evolution will show a folder called .#evolution when re-started after deleting a message from the MH folders.

Steps to reproduce:
1. rm -r MH/.#evolution*
2. Start evolution.
3. Delete a message from an MH folder.
4. View Deleted Items folder.
5. Close evolution.
6. Restart evolution.

Actual results:
.#evolution appears as a folder in the MH message store.

Expected results:
No extra folder should appear.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Identical to bug #318803 about maildir format folders. I image a similar patch would fix the problem.

Same here, 3.0.3
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:56:28 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
