Description Adam Dingle 2008-12-12 16:01:26 UTC
I'd love to be able to assign a shortcut key to the View / Messages command to be able to show and hide the Messages window easily. Unfortunately it's currently not possible to assign a shortcut key to this command or to the View commands for other window types. Even if I've enabled editable menu shortcut keys in GNOME, nothing happens when I hover over these menu commands and type a shortcut key, and these commands don't appear in the Shortcuts view in the Anjuta preferences dialog.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/anjuta/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
