GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 563598
segfault when trying to export QSF XML
Last modified: 2018-06-29 22:13:32 UTC
This is a copy of ubuntu launchpad bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnucash/+bug/302347 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a new gnucash file 2. select "File - Export - Export to QSF XML" (translated from German) 3. move the mouse over the calendar If I use the keyboard to select "export", it works fine, so it seems to be the calendar widget.

Related to bug 539248? In any case, I can reproduce this in trunk.

This still looks suspiciously like bug 539248. The GtkCalendar widget seems to work everywhere else though. Maybe it also has something to do with glade?
Sure enough, if I remove the "tooltip" line from the glade file, there is no crash any more. So I believe this is bug 539248, which may have been fixed in Gtk 2.13.x but not in 2.14.5 which I am running. It seems like the easiest thing might be to put the "Future dates are not supported" message right in the dialog instead of in a tooltip.
Fixed in r18176. Setting target version to 2.3.1.
