Originally reported at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-applets/+bug/32466 # Description The trash applet tooltip don't update itself when you delete (i.e. move to trash) an item on exteral disk (for example USB key) # Steps to reproduce * move the pointer over the applet (let's assume you have 5 items in trash) * plug an USB key with some file on it * delete (i.e. move to trash) one file on USB key * move the pointer over the applet # Current result Applet says "5 items in trash" # Expected result Applet should say "6 items in trash" # More info Opening trash:// location, tooltip is updated.
Bug #559210 is also related to trash:// content monitoring.
This is a GVFS bug. Fixed with the new trash backend.
